The LiveMigrator changes the rules in the enormously important market segment of the system migrations. Due to the high efficiency and performance of the product, migrations in bulk business can be carried out without any problems with little time. This saves hours of working time in the area of administration. In addition, the migration during operation reduces the costs for production losses by downtimes close to zero. Thus the use of the LiveMigrator is already amortized from the first license and facilitates the decision to introduce new systems. For some companies this makes the decision at all possible and supports computer centers actively in the introduction of innovations.

For this purpose, EDS was awarded the third place at the German data center prize 2016 in the category data center software.
